So below are the tricks which will enable your Whatsapp to do additional tasks and make your Whatsapp more productive. These tricks are very simple to follow, are tested by me and working properly. Check all tricks from below:
How To Send Any File In Whatsapp (zip, apk, rar)
Below is an example if sharing an .apk file. Using this method, you can share any file on WhatsApp.As a sender
- Just go to your file manager (i prefer ES File Manager) and hold on the file to bring out the RENAME option and rename it from .Apk to .txt.
- Go back to your WhatsApp and tap on the sharing icon followed by tapping on the
- Document and finally, locate the renamed file and send.
As a receiver
- Open the shared file by downloading it.
- Go your file manager and rename the file from .txt to .apk and finally, install it.
How to Add More Than 256 Members in a WhatsApp Group
- Force stop WhatsApp messenger app. To perform so, go to settings > apps > running services > WhatsApp > force stop.
- Now open ES File Explorer and go to Root Explorer from the menu bar. Once you get it, mount 'RW'
- Next, go to /data/data/com.whatsapp/shared_prefs.
- Once you are here, open 'com.whatsapp_preferance.xml' using ES note editor.
- You'll find one line saying . Now edit the sentence and add one more 6 along with 256.
- Now save the file and close it. And try adding the 257th member in your WhatsApp group.
- Go to the group info and you're done!
How to pin and unpin favorite chats in top
- Press and hold the chat you want to pin
- Now it will display options like Pin, Delete, Mute, and Archive.
- Choose the pin option
- Once done, it will remain on top no matter what. If you get a new message, it will be displayed under pinned chat.
- You can also unpin by long pressing the option by disabling the Pin button.
How To Increase Size Limit On WhatsApp’s File Attachments
Requirements:
- Rooted Device
- Root Browser or ES File Manager (search in Playstore)
- Latest version of WhatsApp
Steps:
- WhatsApp should be installed and the user should be logged in.
- Open the Root Browser app.
- Grant Root permission when the message prompts.
- Open ‘data’ and press ‘data’ again.
- Open the ‘com.WhatsApp’ folder then the ‘shared_prefs’ folder. Here you will find the main file by the name of ‘com.WhatsApp_prefrences.xml’.
- Long tap on ‘com.WhatsApp_prefrences’ and press Open with.
- From the list of given apps, open RB Text Editor.
- You will see the file opened with the text editor.
- Now you must find these key words from the text provided.
- <int name=”media_limit_mb” value=”16″ />
- Now change the number 16 to your desired value.
- The numbers replaced are in MBs and should be set to the maximum of 2048.
- Now you should save and exit the file.
- Reboot your device on time and enjoy increased file sharing.
