Hi Students, are you guys worried about our examination? Do you need help about it? Well after writing on CBSE Class 10th Exam Tips, I got request to give tips for Class 12th Board Exams. So here i came with full examination guide for CBSE Class 12th. OK no more talk, have a look on the graphs given below:
Weightage of Topics in Subjects
- PHYSICS
- MATHEMATICS
- BIOLOGY
- CHEMISTRY
The above graphs shows the Weightage of Topics, so prepare on taking these charts into consideration. Now have a look on your study plan from today to exam.
Mid of January 2017 to End of February 2017
- This is a time span of 40-50 days, where students need to concentrate more on revision. This can be easily done with the help of tips given below in the table.
- Buy question banks & previous years papers (or last 10 years papers) of all the subjects.
- Prepare chapter wise questions and answers from question bank. First, prepare short and very short answers of each chapter then jump to long questions or numerical problems
- Solve previous year papers in stipulated time period. Also, refer your solutions with the solutions of the paper to analyse your preparation.
- Also, solve some practice papers based on latest CBSE class 12 examination pattern 2017.
- Avoid studying any new chapter which you have not studied till date. However, you can prepare selective topics & questions if they are frequently asked in previous year question papers.
- Try to learn complete question banks and previous year papers before the end of February 2017.
- Give equal time to all the subjects and do not ignore class notes
09th March 2017: English Elective –NCERT (001) | English Elective-CBSE (FUNCTIONAL ENGLISH) (101) | English Core (301)
For Class 12 students, the board examination will begin with English paper and timings for these exams are 10.30 am TO 1.30 pm. So, from the beginning of March 2017, student should- Strictly avoid studying anything new.
- Only revise what you have studied yet.
- Go through previous year papers once again.
- Memorize summary of all stories given in their textbooks
- Avoid studying other subjects
15th March 2017: Physics (042)
After English exam, students will get 5 days for Physics exam. So, during this period students must concentrate on studying Physics only. In this time span of 5 days, student should- Prepare 1 mark and 2 marks questions first.
- Prepare 5 marks with pen and paper
- Not give too much time to numerical problems
- Avoid giving too much time to a particular topic
- Revise previous year question papers and solve CBSE sample papers
20th March, 2017: Mathematics (041)
As per CBSE board date sheet 2017, CBSE class 12 maths exam will be conducted on 20th March 2017. During this period a student should- Strictly avoid studying anything new
- Revise important formulae and solved examples of each chapter
- Revise previous year CBSE class 12 solved papers
25th March, 2017: Chemistry (043)
Chemistry syllabus is just too vast! Hence you have to utilise the 04 days. Immediately after the completion of physics exam, you should begin the revision for Chemistry paper. During this period student must
- Go through previous year papers (last 10 year) and sample papers of CBSE class 12 chemistry.
- Learn all the derivations, numerical and important reactions (organic and inorganic) asked in previous year papers.
- Revise chapter only from NCERT textbooks or the questions bank from which you had prepared the subject.
- Give priority to numerical problems which have been frequently asked in previous year papers.
5th April, 2017: Biology (044)
After Chemistry, the Biology exam will be held on 5th April, 2017. In order to score well in CBSE class 12 Biology exam. Students should follow the points given below in order to make an effective study and revision in the 10 days gap:- Revise the chapters from NCERT textbooks.
- Prepare exercises given at the end of each chapter of NCERT textbooks
- Simultaneously prepare last 10 year papers and CBSE sample paper.
- Revise questions and answers from the question bank.
22nd April, 2017: Hindi Core (302) | Hindi Elective (002)
After biology exam the students of CBSE class 12 have more than enough time to prepare Hindi subject. Student can pick a good quality guide for Hindi class 12 and start preparing. So student should- Go through all the rules of Hindi grammar from the guide
- Prepare questions and solutions for all the chapters
- Solve some sample papers (Hindi Core or Hindi Elective) and previous year papers with pen and paper
NOTE:
- Timely revision is very much required to score well in CBSE Class 12 board examination; especially during the gap between two papers.
- While revision or preparation students should give proper time to all the subjects.
- Students must prepare chapters from NCERT textbooks, question bank or class notes and solve maximum papers.
- Solving CBSE sample paper (or practice paper) and previous year papers help in time management, revision and improves the confidence level of a student for the final CBSE class 12 board examination 2017.
