Hello Students, deadline has made for you! Pack your bags and get ready for Finale! 

Students have already planned their study timetable according to the date sheet released. But still, some students are still facing problems and are searching answers for their query.

In order to help such students, i am providing an effective study plan (of two months duration) along with tips for exam preparation. This plan is synchronized with CBSE Class 10 date sheet 2017 for effective time management and proper preparation.

First of all, look at the graphs below :

From the graphs and charts mentioned above students can have the clear idea of the importance of topics which are to be studied on priority.

YOUR STUDY TIPS FROM TODAY TO EXAMS

From Mid of January 2017 to End of February 2017
During this period (40 – 50 days), students should concentrate more on revision of the topics. This can be easily done with the help of tips given below:

Buy question banks & previous year papers (or last 10 years papers) of all the subjects of CBSE class 10.
Prepare chapter wise questions and answers from question bank. First, prepare short and very short answers of each chapter then jump to long questions or numerical problems
Solve previous year papers in stipulated time period. Also, match your solutions with the solutions of the paper to analyse your preparation.
Also, solve some practice papers based on latest CBSE Class 10 examination pattern 2017.
Avoid studying any new chapter which you have not studied till date. However, you can prepare selective topics & questions if they are frequently asked in previous year question papers.
Try to learn complete question banks and previous year papers before the end of February 2017.
Give equal time to all the subjects and don’t ignore class notes

10th March 2017: Hindi Course – A (002) | Hindi Course – B (085)

Exam Day and Timing: Friday, 10.30 am to 1.30 pm

Prepare the subject from a good guide (or class notes).
Solve previous year question papers and sample papers.
Thoroughly study basic concepts of class 10 Hindi grammar.
Memorise brief summary of all the stories and poems given in the textbook.

22nd March 2017: Science – Theory (086) | Science w/o Practical (090)

Exam Day and Timing: Wednesday, 10:30 am to 1:30 pm

Revise NCERT textbooks and NCERT solutions.
Solve last 5 (or 10) year question papers and CBSE sample papers
Practice diagram based questions with pen and paper
Avoid getting stuck in any particular as this may lead to precious time

30th March 2017: English Communicative (101) | English Language and Literature (184)

Exam Day and Timing: Thursday, 10:30 am to 1:30 pm

Understand basic concepts of English grammar
Practice CBSE sample papers and previous year papers
Understand CBSE class 10 Marking scheme 2016
Learn brief summaries of stories and poems

3rd April 2017: Mathematics (041)

Exam Day and Timing: 10:30 am to 1:30 pm

Strictly avoid studying anything new during this period
Revise theorems with pen and paper
Go through solved examples from a good quality book
Don’t forget to solve CBSE sample papers and 1-2 new practice papers

8th April 2017: Social Science (087)

Exam Day and Timing: 10:30 am to 1:30 pm
Solve previous year papers and CBSE sample papers
Practice Map based questions with pen and paper
Memorise brief summary in case of history

NOTE :

Students must have latest CBSE syllabus, NCERT textbooks, sample papers of previous year including solved papers and question banks (good quality).
Solving CBSE sample paper (or practice paper) and previous year papers help in time management, revision and improves the confidence level of a student for the final CBSE Class 10 board examination 2017.
Students must prepare chapters from NCERT textbooks, question bank or class notes and solve maximum papers.
